Before we can really get started, you first need to add content to WordPress. There are a number of different content types that you can create with Azione:
- Posts
- Slider Posts
- Pages
This content can be displayed in a variety of ways via Widgets and Page Templates.
Detailed instructions on adding each content type are covered from the articles later in this guide or linked here.
Once you’ve populated the relevant post types with content, you can then add them to your homepage via the → section in your WordPress administration area.
Azione Image Sizes
For best results, upload images at least 940 pixels wide for display in fullwidth or single-column areas, or at least 700 pixels wide for everywhere else.
Video thumbnails generated by oEmbed will be 640×480 and include the black letterbox bars when YouTube is used. Vimeo thumbnails will match the resolution/ratio of the video and will look better in general. If your oEmbed thumbnails are not looking good, we recommend uploading your own Featured Thumnbails to the video posts, at least 700px wide.
Demo Content
If you prefer to pre-load our demo content into your theme, go to → and click the download link in the upper-right, or right click the below link and choose Save As.
The demo file cannot setup the theme or widgets for you, so please continue with the setup documentation to learn how to master your theme.
To use this file:
- Unzip the downloaded package to find the XML.
- Upload this file under→ → WordPress.
- If prompted to install the plugin, follow the steps to install and activate.
- Browse to the file and upload.
- Check the box to import the demo media. Note that some images may not download, so you will need to edit those posts to add your own.
