Ambition supports SoundCloud audio and any other audio provider providing embed codes. The Audio embed field allows easy insertion and display of your sound clips. Use the Audio post format as an every-day audio blog post, a podcast, build a complete discography or audio preview.
Create an Audio Post
- Click on →
- Enter a Title and your post content
- Click the Browse button under the post editor to upload a featured image. The image should be at least 320 pixels wide for best results. This image can be displayed in your widgets and any area where the video thumbnail is too small and to encourage visitors to click-through to view the full clip.
- Enter your audio embed code into the embed field, or optionally add an iframe or flash embed code.
- Add some tags and select your category on the right.
- Important: Select Audio in the Post Format box on the left
- Click Publish
The category you create for your audio posts should only contain posts using the Audio format if you want them to display using the Audio layout. You may add these posts to more than one category if you want to mix them in with other content or formats.
