The Solution
We use FreeIcons, which is a royalty-free vector icon generator. It will allow you to choose from a variety of glyphs, then set the background shape, color and size. These files are downloaded as PNGs and can be uploaded to your WordPress Media Library, then used as featured images/icons or in Custom CSS for use outside of your content.
