Introduction
Obox themes support two ways of embedding videos for use with the Featured Video display and widgets in our themes: Embed Codes and oEmbed.
VideoPress is WordPress.com’s free video hosting service that allows you to easily host videos using their player. This is a good option if you aren’t able to convert your videos into multiple formats for self-hosting, or don’t have the bandwidth, but VideoPress does not currently support oEmbed.
The Solution
- Pull up your video on your VideoPress page and click the Share link at the top
- Click the Copy HTML button under Embed on a Webpage. That will give you an embed code like this:

- Copy that into the Embed Code field on the Options panel in the post editor.
