Introduction
When loading your site in Chrome, the layout loads fine but no text is visible. This is a bug in jQuery fitvids that keeps Google Fonts from loading and is specific to the Chrome browser. If you click anywhere, the fonts will load fine.
The Solution
Ensure your theme is up to date. Fixes for this issue were released the week of March 6thk, 2014.
Manual Fix
If you are a developer or you need to fix the issue directly for any reason, download the updated fitvid script from the script’s github page, then connect to your site via FTP and go to wp-content/themes/yourtheme/scripts and upload the new file. If you were not prompted to overwrite, make note of the existing fitvids script filename, then delete it and rename the new one to match the original file name.
This is considered a modification, and is provided as-is. We expect you understand what you are doing if applying coding changes using these or other WordPress tutorials. Make a backup of your existing file so you can replace it if something goes wrong and you need to start over. Modified files WILL probably be replaced by a theme update at some point, so keep note of your changes for future reference or see our guides below.
