The Solution
In most cases you only need to click on the Plugins section, and go back to Theme Options, the error will disappear. Another common cause of this error is extra lines or white space in your wp_config.php file. Please see this article on the WordPress Codex for how to troubleshoot.
If this error is occuring alongside other errors talking about connection, mySQL or a plugin, please deactivate all plugins, verify your sever permissions, or contact your host for additional help.
If the error persists and you have not modified the theme files, please first ensure you have all theme updates installed, then notify us on the Theme Support Forum and include the following:
- Theme version
- Full error
- What you did to produce the errors (which links to click etc)
